The objectives of the presentation are:

  • be able to accurately diagnose implant disease situations, 
  • know how to treat early disease states, 
  • know when to prescribe more advanced therapies to save ailing implants

Has been in private dental specialty practice in Reston, Virginia for over 25 years. Initially in a group practice, now as a solo practitioner.

He is Board certified by the American Board of Periodontology with a practice limited to periodontal regeneration therapies and implant surgery.  

He is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia (specialty certificate in Periodontics) and the University of Louisville ( D.M.D.)  He has a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry from Georgetown College (Kentucky)  He also has a master certificate in sedation from the College of Sedation (ADSA)

He is a former part-time clinical associate professor in Periodontics at the Medical College of Virginia Dental School.


He is married with 2 children and resides in Leesburg.
