Dental Hygiene and Advocacy, how does it all work?

Presented by Emilie Ellis, BSDH, RDH.

Emilie Ellis, BSDH, RDH is a graduate of Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor's in Biology (2010), and a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor's in Dental Hygiene (2014). She works full time in private practice 4 days a week, and teaches as an adjunct clinical faculty at VCU School of Dentistry. She is a past president of the Virginia Dental Hygienists' Association, and has served in many leadership roles at the Greater Richmond component level. She is the current chair of the VDHA Budget and Finance Committee, Mentorship Committee, and the CURET newsletter. She also currently serves as the Chair of the Committee on Policy and Bylaws for the American Dental Hygienists' Association.
